11th–12th November 2026 | Gorizia, Italy and Nova Gorica, Slovenia
The 6th Hydrogen Ecosystem North Adriatic Conference taking place on 11th and 12th November 2026 in Gorizia and Nova, brings together industry leaders, policymakers, public authorities, innovators, investors, researchers and representatives of the wider European hydrogen community.
Entering its sixth edition, the conference has become much more than a sectoral event. It is an important cross-border platform for organisations shaping the future of hydrogen, renewable energy and industrial decarbonisation in the North Adriatic and across Europe.
This year’s theme, “At the intersection of EU sovereignty, industrial competitiveness and climate crisis”, addresses a defining question for Europe: how can the energy transition strengthen economic resilience, energy security and competitiveness while accelerating the shift towards a climate-neutral economy?
NAHV at the 5th Hydrogen Ecosystem North Adriatic
The conference is closely connected to the evolution of the North Adriatic Hydrogen Ecosystem. The first edition, held in 2021, helped unlock the partnership between Croatia, Slovenia and the Autonomous Region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia that led to the development of the North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley, the first transnational Hydrogen Valley in Europe.
Today, NAHV is part of a wider and growing ecosystem that also includes NACHIP, NASCHA and H2READY. Together, these initiatives are advancing hydrogen production, infrastructure, industrial applications, innovation, investment readiness and cross-border value chains.
Why attend?
The conference is an opportunity to be present where the next phase of the hydrogen economy is being discussed and shaped.
Participants can:
- engage with decision-makers from industry, policy, research and investment;
- follow the development of hydrogen projects, infrastructure and value chains;
- connect with organisations from the North Adriatic and wider Europe;
- explore cooperation, funding and investment opportunities;
- exchange experience with other Hydrogen Valleys and European initiatives;
- understand how hydrogen fits into the wider debate on European competitiveness, resilience and industrial transformation.
The value of participating is not only visibility. It is about being present early enough, understanding where the ecosystem is moving and engaging directly with the people shaping its future.
