On 12 February 2026, the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia hosted the online event “Ecosistema Idrogeno: dalle prime iniziative alla strategia regionale” (Hydrogen Ecosystem: From the First Initiatives to the Regional Strategy).
The event opened with introductory remarks by Massimo Canali, Director Central for Environment, Energy and Sustainable Development. Ketty Segatti, Coordinator of the interdepartmental hydrogen working group, presented the regional pathway on hydrogen and the main results achieved so far.
The core of the event was dedicated to the presentation of the Regional Hydrogen Strategy, approved by the Regional Government in December 2025. The Strategy was introduced by Elena Caprotti, Director of the Energy Transition Service, with an analytical overview provided by Alessandro Viviani, Associate Partner and Head of GreenTech Area at TEHA Group.
