On 14th November 2023, the topic “The role of the research in the NAHV ecosystem” organised upon the initiative of the University of Trieste, a partner of the NAHV, will take place at the Palace of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Trieste. The event is a part of “Powering Sustainable Manufacturing” conference – The Rise of Green Hydrogen, organised by the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit (GIMS), co-chaired by United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and United Arab Emirates, Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology.

Among participating organisations of the event there are: Confidustria FVG, World Trade Center Trieste, ATT, National Oceanographic and Geographic Experimental Institute, The Laboratory of Quantitative Sustainability, International Foundation Trieste, Investment and Technology Promotion Office.
Luigi Crema, President of the Hydrogen Europe Research will host a round table discussion with scientific representatives actively involved in the NAHV project: University of Udine, University of Ljubljana, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, and University of Split.
A poster session will be held by the researchers from universities and research institutions presenting their research activities focusing on hydrogen across three primary topics: Production, Storage – Transport, and clean hydrogen end users.
The objective is to foster the collaboration of researchers of the macro region of the North Adriatic and to identify technological gaps and challenges that need to be addressed in the near future to facilitate the scaling up of the hydrogen supply chain.
