| 1. | Decarbonising the energy sector through the deployment of hydrogen |
Ministry of Environment and Energy of the Republic of SLovenia (MOPE) has opened a call for proposals for the preparation of an action plan for the development of hydrogen technologies by 2030, with a vision for 2040. Interested bidders have to submit their bids in accordance with the instructions in the public procurement documentation by July 21th, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the latest via the e-JN public procurement information system. The subject of the public procurement is the preparation of a proposal for an action plan for achieving the targets in the NEPN in the field of hydrogen, which will define the key steps for the successful implementation of the orientations set out in the updated National Energy and Climate Plan in the field of hydrogen until 2030. The purpose of the document is to define a comprehensive, coordinated and feasible set of measures that will enable Slovenia to achieve the set targets for the integration of hydrogen in industry and transport by 2030, with a strategic view to 2040 and beyond. The document will clearly define strategic objectives, actions and projects for the deployment of hydrogen in the energy and transport system and industry, including the cross-sectoral integration of these areas (Power-to-X solutions), together with a timeline, an estimate of the necessary financial resources and the implementation actors, which will serve as an operational roadmap for stakeholders in the implementation of hydrogen projects in the coming years. The final document will contain measurable targets, performance indicators, implementation timeline, promoters and an estimate of the necessary funding. The document will be presented to relevant stakeholders and translated into English for international use. The deadline for the implementation of the task is 10 months from the signature of the contract.
